Qualifications: A minimum of (2) years prior teaching experience. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dance or Dance Education from a recognized institution, and or a certification from recognized dance institutions or organizations. This can include institutions like the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) or the Dance Educators of America (DEA). A strong background in various dance forms – from classical ballet to contemporary, jazz, and street styles, depending on the teaching focus. Professional performance experience. Continuing Education; Engage in workshops, courses, and seminars to keep up-to-date with the latest dance techniques and teaching methodologies.

Skills and Abilities: Ability to explain and demonstrate dance techniques clearly and effectively to students of all age groups and skill levels. Adaptability: Ability to adjust teaching methods based on the needs and capabilities of different students in a single class. Choreography Skills: Creating and teaching dance routines on a weekly basis.

Personal Qualities: Passion for Dance: An intrinsic love for dance and the drive to share this passion with others. Empathy: Understanding and relating to students' struggles and triumphs. Commitment: Dedication to continuous learning and improvement as a teacher and dancer. ASSISTANT MANAGER

Job Summary:

RELEASE is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the studio, including dance instruction, team management, recruitment, training, marketing and more. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about dance and committed to creating a positive and inclusive dance community.

Key Responsibilities:

Dance Instruction: Lead and instruct dance classes across various styles and age groups. Ensure a safe and inclusive dance environment for all students. Continuously improve dance curriculum and teaching techniques.

Team Management: Supervise and provide guidance to dance instructors and administrative staff. Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture. Schedule and coordinate staff assignments and class schedules.

Recruitment and Hiring: Assist in recruiting and hiring dance instructors and support staff. Conduct interviews and assessments to identify qualified candidates.

Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs for new and existing staff. Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to team members.

Talent Retention: Implement strategies to enhance staff retention and job satisfaction. Address and resolve personnel issues and conflicts.

Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns. Participate in community outreach and engagement activities.

MindBody Software Utilization: Proficiently use MindBody software to manage class schedules, registrations, and customer data. Troubleshoot software-related issues and assist customers with inquiries.

Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Maintain a welcoming and friendly studio atmosphere.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Dance, Business, or related field preferred. Professional dance experience and proficiency in multiple dance styles. Previous experience in dance instruction and studio management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of MindBody software or willingness to learn. Marketing and promotional experience is a plus. Passion for dance and a commitment to fostering a positive dance community.

We are seeking a photographer / videographer to provide in house professional headshots and video reels for dancer's resumes.

FRONT DESK INTERNSHIP

PART TIME | COLLEGE CLASS CREDIT | INCLUDES A DANCE MEMBERSHIP

Responsibilities may include:

• Greeting and checking guests in to classes

• Maintaining/cleaning the studio

• Recording class videos

• Collaborate with the studio director on various projects

• Knowledge of dance and dance experience required, MindBody experience +

PHOTO/VIDEO INTERNSHIP

PART TIME | COLLEGE CLASS CREDIT | INCLUDES A DANCE MEMBERSHIP

Collaborate with the studio director to effectively execute creative content that aligns with our brand and vision. Responsibilities may include:

• Filming and editing class content, concept videos, promotional videos, live performances, community events, etc.
• Capture behind the scenes footage
• Upload and edit videos to be used for web and social accounts
• Media Organization & planning

Must have experience with filming and editing videos, photography and using editing software. If applying, please send a few examples of previous photo and video work.

MARKETING INTERNSHIP

PART TIME | COLLEGE CLASS CREDIT | INCLUDES A DANCE MEMBERSHIP

Assists with the marketing process from research and planning to execution and analysis. Develop and implement marketing plans including class content, concept videos, targeted ads, email campaigns, social media strategy & engagement, etc. Works closely with the Studio Director to create/maintain brand identity, develop new advertising initiatives, and create content that inspires and connects with our community. Must be proficient with the adobe creative suite, Canva and have some experience with editing videos.
